01Delivery

Part-Time Driver (2 Days a Week) / Contract Driver

Part-time or contractKingsgrove, NSW

Two days a week delivering customer orders across the Sydney Metro area from our Kingsgrove factory. This role would suit a semi-retired driver or courier contractor looking for regular weekly work. A delivery vehicle is provided.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver customer orders throughout the Sydney Metro area safely and on time
  • Load and unload the vehicle efficiently and with care for the product
  • Carry out vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy
  • Help pack, wrap and prepare orders for dispatch on delivery days
  • Follow all WHS policies and procedures at all times

Skills & experience

  • Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence
  • Reliable, punctual and well organised
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Contractors require a current ABN

Desirable

  • Forklift licence

02Workshop & Production

Acrylic Fabricator

Full-timeKingsgrove, NSW

Manufacture high-quality acrylic products, including display cases, plinths, retail displays and custom fabricated pieces. This role suits someone who takes real pride in precision workmanship and an exceptional finish.

Key responsibilities

  • Fabricate custom acrylic products from technical drawings
  • Solvent bond, polish and finish acrylic components to a high standard
  • Operate routers, saws and fabrication equipment safely and accurately
  • Heat bend acrylic where required
  • Assemble fabricated products to specification
  • Carry out quality checks before dispatch
  • Work closely with the production team
  • Keep the workshop and equipment clean and well maintained
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures

Skills & experience

  • Previous acrylic fabrication experience
  • Confidence with solvent bonding and polishing
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Desirable

  • CNC or laser cutting experience
  • Cabinet making or shopfitting background

03Customer Service & Administration

Receptionist / Customer Service Administrator

Full-time, permanentKingsgrove, NSW

Be the first point of contact for Plastix customers in a role that blends reception, administration and customer service while supporting our sales and production teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and emails and be the first friendly voice customers hear
  • Greet customers and visitors at the front counter
  • Handle customer enquiries and quote requests
  • Enter orders into internal systems accurately
  • Coordinate customer collections and deliveries
  • Maintain filing and administrative records
  • Assist with invoicing and purchase orders
  • Liaise with production on order status and keep customers updated
  • Support the sales team with general administration
  • Keep the reception and showroom areas tidy and presentable

Skills & experience

  • Previous reception or administration experience
  • Excellent customer service and a great phone manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Confidence with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Well organised and able to manage a busy day
  • A friendly, professional and positive approach

Desirable

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience using Office 365 or quoting software
