1. Definitions
“Plastix”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Plastix Australia Pty Ltd (ABN pending). “Customer”, “you”, and “your” refer to any person or entity placing an order through our website or directly with our team. “Products” includes all plastic sheets, cut-to-size pieces, and fabricated items. “Services” includes all cutting, machining, polishing, and fabrication work.
2. Orders & Quotes
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Prices generated by our online calculator are indicative and may be subject to confirmation for complex or large-volume orders.
An order is not confirmed until we have accepted it and payment has been received. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be provided.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices include GST (10%) for Australian customers
- Payment is required in full before production of custom-cut items
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, and bank transfer
- Quotes for custom fabrication are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Minimum order values may apply, see our calculator for details
4. Cut-to-Size Tolerances
All cut-to-size products are manufactured to the following tolerances unless otherwise agreed:
- Laser cutting: ±0.1mm
- CNC routing: ±0.25mm
- Saw cutting: ±0.5mm
- Dimensions are measured at 23°C ± 2°C ambient temperature
Minor surface marks from protective film or cutting processes are considered normal and do not constitute a defect.
5. Delivery & Pickup
We offer same-day pickup from our Kingsgrove location (subject to availability) and Australia-wide shipping via insured freight. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and we accept no liability for delays caused by third-party carriers.
- Standard production: 1–3 business days
- Sydney metro delivery: 1–2 business days after production
- Interstate delivery: 3–7 business days after production
- Risk of damage or loss passes to the customer upon dispatch
6. Returns & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of cut-to-size products, we are unable to accept returns on items made to your specifications unless they are defective or not as described. Under Australian Consumer Law:
- Defective products will be replaced or refunded at our discretion
- Claims must be made within 7 days of receiving the product
- Photographic evidence of defects is required
- Stock (non-custom) items may be returned within 14 days in original condition
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plastix Australia's liability for any claim arising from or in connection with these terms or our products and services is limited to the price paid for the relevant product or service. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, calculator tools, and design, is the property of Plastix Australia and is protected by Australian copyright law. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
Custom designs, drawings, or specifications provided by customers remain the intellectual property of the customer. We will not share or reproduce customer designs without consent.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
