Black & White Acrylic Sheets

Opaque acrylic sheet for signs, displays, panels and fabricated parts

Black and white acrylic sheets are widely used for signage, retail displays, plinths, covers, lettering and clean opaque panels. Plastix supplies stocked gloss, matt and selected opal or diffuser-style options depending on colour, finish and thickness.

Common black and white sheet combinations can be configured online. Less common finishes, full sheets and fabricated parts remain quote-based so stock, surface and production requirements can be checked before the job proceeds.

Gloss, matt or opal

Gloss black and white acrylic gives signs and display parts a clean reflective face. Matt finishes reduce reflections and handling marks, while opal and diffuser grades are intended for illuminated applications where light transmission matters.

These finishes are not interchangeable. Note whether the panel is front-lit, back-lit, viewed closely or installed where fingerprints and glare are important.

Ordering opaque acrylic parts

Provide finished dimensions, thickness, quantity and the visible face. Add holes, slots, lettering, edge finish and fixing details when the job is more than a rectangular panel.

For brand-critical white or black finishes, confirm the required surface and request a sample when matching another material or an existing installation matters.

Common applications

  • Retail and exhibition displays
  • Signs, letters and logo panels
  • Plinths, risers and product stands
  • Opaque covers and equipment panels
  • Back-lit and diffuser panels

Common questions

Can black and white acrylic be cut to size?

Yes. Supported colours and thicknesses can be priced online, while special finishes, full sheets and fabricated work are confirmed by quote.

What is the difference between white acrylic and opal acrylic?

Opaque white is intended to block or strongly limit light. Opal and diffuser grades transmit and spread light, so they are normally selected for illuminated signs and light panels.

Are matt black and matt white available?

Selected matt options are listed in the calculator, subject to thickness and stock. Submit a quote if the required combination is not instant-priced.
