Clear polycarbonate sheet is used where a transparent panel needs more impact resistance than acrylic. Choosing a clear polycarbonate thickness

The correct thickness depends on panel span, support, fixing points, expected impact and how much flex is acceptable. A small equipment cover and a large machine guard may use the same material but need very different thicknesses.

For replacement guards, provide the old panel dimensions, hole positions and photos of the installation. For new guards or protective barriers, the customer remains responsible for design, compliance and confirming that the selected material and thickness suit the risk.

Cutting, drilling and CNC work

Straight clear polycarbonate panels can be saw cut. Holes, slots, cutouts and custom profiles move the job to CNC cutting so the entire item is priced and labelled under the correct process.

Polycarbonate is not handled as a standard laser-cut acrylic job. Include finished X and Y dimensions, quantity, hole centres, profile details and the required edge condition so the workshop can select the practical method.
