Lightweight expanded PVC sheet for signs, displays and fitout panels
PVC foamboard is a lightweight expanded PVC sheet used for signs, displays, exhibition panels and interior fitout work. Its smooth face is suited to print and presentation applications where a lighter panel is easier to handle and install.
Sheet thickness, colour and stock vary, so Plastix confirms the selected option before production. Simple panels can be cut to size, while detailed profiles, holes and repeat parts may require CNC routing and quote review.
Foamboard is lighter and commonly chosen for signage, print, displays and temporary or semi-permanent fitouts. Rigid PVC is denser and better suited to industrial panels, wet environments and jobs where chemical resistance or a more solid engineering sheet is required.
For longer-term outdoor sign panels, compare foamboard with ACP as well. Exposure, fixing method, panel size and expected service life determine the better option.
Provide the finished width, height, thickness, colour and quantity. Note whether the board will be printed, screwed, taped, glued or fitted into a frame, because the fixing method can change the best thickness and edge treatment.
