Rigid PVC Sheets Cut to Size

Dense PVC sheet for industrial panels, linings and machined parts

Rigid PVC sheet is denser than expanded PVC foamboard and is used for industrial panels, linings, wet-area components, templates and utility parts where a solid sheet and practical chemical resistance are required. Plastix can supply straight panels or review CNC-machined profiles, holes and repeat components.

Grade, colour, thickness and stock should be confirmed against the actual environment. A general PVC label does not establish suitability for every chemical, temperature or regulated application, so technical jobs remain subject to material and production review.

Rigid PVC vs PVC foamboard

Rigid PVC is a solid, denser sheet for utility and industrial work. PVC foamboard has an expanded core, making it lighter and better suited to signs, displays and fitout panels where low weight and printability matter.

If the panel needs to carry load, resist repeated handling or sit in a wet or chemical-prone area, provide the application rather than selecting by thickness alone. Plastix can then compare rigid PVC with HDPE, ACP or another material if required.

Cut panels and machined components

Simple rectangular rigid PVC panels can be saw cut. Holes, slots, recesses and custom profiles are normally CNC machined, with the full item priced under that production process.

For repeat parts, send a dimensioned drawing with quantity and tolerances. For replacement components, photos or the original part help the team check whether the request is raw sheet supply or a finished machined component.

Common applications

  • Industrial panels and liners
  • Wet-area and utility panels
  • Chemical-resistant components
  • Templates, spacers and covers
  • CNC-routed profiles and parts
  • Replacement machine components

Common questions

Can rigid PVC sheet be cut to size?

Yes. Plastix can supply straight cut panels and review CNC work for holes, slots and custom profiles. Stock and pricing depend on the selected grade, colour and thickness.

Is rigid PVC the same as foamboard?

No. Rigid PVC is solid and denser. PVC foamboard has an expanded core and is lighter, which makes it common for signs and displays rather than industrial components.

Is rigid PVC suitable for chemical exposure?

PVC is used in many chemical-prone environments, but compatibility depends on the exact chemical, concentration, temperature, grade and exposure. Provide those details for review before ordering.
