Plastix makes custom acrylic display cases, clear Perspex boxes, protective covers and presentation enclosures for retail products, collections, models, exhibitions and commercial displays. The finished size, viewing distance, access and support all affect how the case should be built.
A small counter display may only need clear acrylic and a removable cover. A larger case can need thicker sheet, a base, access panels, polished edges or extra support. Starting with the object and the practical use prevents a visually clean case from becoming awkward to handle or too flexible in service.

Dust protection and display enclosures with practical clearance, access and support for valuable or delicate items.
Repeat cases, plinth covers and branded presentation pieces where dimensions, finish and delivery timing must stay consistent.
Clear acrylic is the normal starting point for display-quality cases because it is lightweight, transparent and suitable for clean cutting, bonding and edge finishing. Perspex is a recognised acrylic brand name. Customers only need to describe the result they need; Plastix confirms the suitable sheet type, grade and thickness against the job and available stock.
Visible edges can be reviewed for polishing, while tinted, frosted, coloured or mirror acrylic may suit bases, back panels and branded details. Where impact is the main risk, compare the job with polycarbonate before choosing purely on appearance.
One-off cases can be quoted from dimensions, photos and a clear description. Repeat retail or exhibition work is easier to control with a drawing, retained sample or job reference so the same clearances, edge finish and access details carry across the batch.
Complex builds can combine laser cutting, CNC machining, polishing and bonding. The quote review confirms the practical production method instead of treating the job like a collection of flat panels.
Yes. Send the finished width, depth and height, what will be displayed, the access required and any base or fixing details. You do not need to choose between cast and extruded acrylic; the team will confirm the suitable material, thickness, edge finish and construction before production.
The construction can be similar, but a display case usually prioritises clarity, presentation and clean visible edges. A utility box may prioritise access, strength or protection. The intended use determines the best material, thickness and finish.
Supported standard configurations may show a live estimate. Larger cases, unusual access, special colours, close tolerances, bases or freight-sensitive builds move into quote review using the same dimensions and notes.
Suitable cases can be reviewed for Australia-wide freight. Size, fragility, packing, destination and replacement risk must be checked before freight is confirmed.
