Frosted & Matt Acrylic Sheets

Low-glare translucent and matt acrylic for displays, privacy and light diffusion

Frosted and matt acrylic sheets soften reflections and visibility while retaining the clean finish and fabrication options of acrylic. They are commonly considered for privacy panels, display backgrounds, illuminated features, signs and interior fitout details.

The Plastix range includes selected matt clear, matt opal, matt black, matt white and specialist diffuser-style options. Availability and pricing vary by finish and thickness, so unsupported combinations are sent for quote review rather than shown with an assumed price.

Frosted, matt and diffuser finishes

Matt or frosted surfaces reduce glare and obscure detail through the sheet. Opal and diffuser products are selected for light transmission and spread, which makes them more appropriate for illuminated signs or lighting features.

Describe the intended visual result, lighting position and which face will be visible. A sample is worthwhile when privacy level, colour or light diffusion is critical.

Cutting and handling

Frosted acrylic can be cut as simple panels or quoted for detailed laser, CNC and fabrication work. The surface finish makes handling and protective film important, particularly on customer-facing display parts.

Include holes, edge requirements, fixing method and finished quantity so the correct process and sheet orientation can be reviewed before cutting.

Yes. Selected matt and frosted options can be configured online, while specialist finishes and fabrication requirements are reviewed by quote.
